NEEDS AN ADULT HOME WITH NO CHILDREN, CATS, OR LARGE DOGS ( small dogs ok)

PATTI came to us with her sister IZZIE all the way from Florida. Their owner has terminal cancer and asked our foster to help place them in a forever home, so that she will know they will be well taken care of. It would be a dream if they could be adopted together, but it's not necessary. They are both very independent and don't seem to mind being away from each other at all. PATTI is 5.2 lbs She gets along with other small dogs, as long as they stay away while she is eating dinner. 

Patti LOVES to be next to you on the couch and loves to sleep in the bed, but can be a bit grumpy if you disturb her rest. Only a growl to let you know she is there and not to turn over on her.  For these reasons, we recommend an adult home with no children or cats. She's not fond of big dogs, but blends well with her four, small step-foster sisters. She isn't extremely active, but will alert you (with a cute bark) if there is any noise, activity going on outside or is she spots a squirrel. She's a princess who doesn't mind wearing outfits or her collar/leash, but she prefers to be carried outside to potty and come right back in.  She does like to sit out on the screened porch in the sun, where she feels protected and safe.
