Let us introduce the newest addition to Plp!  This is why you never give pets as gifts . We are very thankful for the neighbor, Stacy who discovered the puppy living outside and didn’t turn a blind eye. She went over and asked if they would surrender the puppy to a rescue and they said yes! Someone had given them this little guy as a gift who was then banished to living outside with no vetting and not neutered in the elements .   She called a mutual friend of ours who called us and we picked him up the next day. I worried all night about him being outside ..... luckily we were able to get him and change his life .
“My name is Yocco and my foster daddy says I'm 10 pounds of furry fun.  A few weeks ago I was living outside in Conway, SC because my family didn't really want a puppy.  That's when the folks at Peace Love and Paws found me.  I went to the doggy doctor and he checked me all over, that was fun, gave me vaccinations,  that was ok, and neutered me, that wasn't fun.  But then he said I'm very healthy and sent me home.
Daddy says I'm a chiweenie, half dachshund and half chihuahua but I don't know which half is what.  I am 10 months old and I live with 11 other puppies in Loris,  SC.  I like all hoomans and I like to snuggle up with them and give them lots of kisses.
Mommy and Daddy say I'm ready to find a forever home even though they will be sad to see me go.  I am micro chipped and I try real hard to go potty outside but sometimes I get real excited.
If you will be my forever family I promise I will always give you lots of love and kisses.” 
Yocco is being fostered in the Loris area and his adoption donation is $225.00 which covers complete vetting, all vaccines, heartworm tests and 6 months preventative, neuter, chip, flea and tick prevention, dewormed, leash and collar. Approved app, references and home visit required.
