Cora was found asleep on the porch when a family moved into their new home. While looking for her owner, they learned from the neighbors that she had been roaming the neighborhood for months. She was skinny so they started leaving food out but no one ever took her in. The new homeowners contacted us and Cora quickly settled into life indoors.
Cora is very sweet. She weighs about 15 pounds and is good with both cats and dogs. She's a bit shy with new dogs at first but settles in quickly. She is a total lap dog. A calmer home where someone is home most of the time would be best for her. She loves to burrow under blankets and is a bedhog. She does well in a crate but doesn't care for it. She’s a total Velcro dog. She has been around children ages 5-17 and does well. A leash or fence is mandatory..she’s used to roaming. Cora has done well with house breaking as long as she is taken our periodically.
Approved application, home visit, and adoption donation of $225 required.
