Fill out an Adoption Application

 Layla is an awesome 7 month old soft coat female Whippet mix. She weighs 25lb. She is housebroken, pure love, and loves everyone she meets. She came from a local kill shelter where she had been adopted by an older couple as a puppy.  She was returned by them when they realized she was too active for them to keep up with. Although she is a typical puppy, she is a well behaved one.  Her foster mom reports that she sits on command and comes when called. She is full of kisses and loves being close to you while watching tv or where ever you are. Layla has lots of fun playing with the other dogs in her foster home.  She loves the kids she has met in the neighborhood.  So far, she has not met any cats but we don’t think that would be an issue. She also likes to steal socks from the laundry! She will want her furever person to allow her to sleep in their bed or close by. Because of the trauma of her abandonment, she has not been in a crate. And because she is housebroken and well behaved, there has been no need for that. When her foster mom leaves leave the house, she does bark and cry for a minute or so. Once she feels safe in a new furever home, that behavior would likely end quickly. Layla is also good in the car and would be happy to go with you! Her ONLY issue is she does pull on leash. But because she is smart, that should just be a matter of a little training. Layla is spayed and up to date and on all shots and preventatives.
