TRIXIE is a 2.5 yr old, 4.90 lb, Chihuahua, LOCATED IN MYRTLE BEACH, SC. 

Trixie came to us, because her mom was in hospice and has since passed away. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, flea prevention and Proheart (6 month heartworm prevention shot). 
Trixie is crate trained, pee pad trained and is learning to go outside pretty quickly, too. She sleeps through the night without a peep and does not require much exercise. She does require someone who likes kisses and enjoys a tiny lap dog. She’s a very fast learner. She’s learned the stairs, doorway and is trying to learn to walk on leash. Trixie does likes other small dogs, but is unsure about cats and kids. Car rides cause her anxiety, but she’s doing so much better now, when held and comforted. 

Favorite pastimes include playing with her toys, snuggling, kissing, following you everywhere you go in the house, making sure your lap is always warm and she is a couch ninja who will crawl up your body to make sure your face is always moisturized. We call her a “Velcro dog”, because she insists on being glued to her person. 

Trixie’s perfect home would be a quiet/laid back one where her person was retired or works from home. She is good in her crate, but prefers a lap. A fence would be nice, but not necessary if she’s on a leash as she is pee pad trained. 

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR- a home with medium or large dogs, kids in the household or anyone with mobility issues, walkers or wheelchairs. She is tiny and fragile, but energetic and always circling your feet. Loud noises and swift motions do scare her, but she bounces back quickly. 

If you are looking for a lap dog who thrives on attention and you don’t mind doggie kisses, TRIXIE is your girl.
