My name is Baby Girl and I came to my foster dad from the shelter where my time was up.  According to my information from the shelter,  I’m listed as a 4 year old boxer mix.   I don’t see boxer in me though.....my friends here at PLP think I might be a Plott Hound and/or Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. I weigh around 45 lbs. I have a beautiful dark brown & black smooth soft brindle coat. I get compliments on my coat all the time! 

I am an absolute cuddle bug. I love attention and affection.  I will nudge you to keep petting me, if you stop.    I love belly rubs and sometimes I purr like a kitten! 

I’m fine sleeping in my bed, your bed, or the couch.  My foster dad does not crate me and I have free range of his home while he is out. I am totally housebroken.Thunderstorms don’t bother me. 

I’m fine around other dogs but I will get protective of my foster dad & sometimes a little jealous if he pets another dog while I’m around. Cats don’t bother me. I will go after a rabbit if I see one in the yard though. I can be a little strong on my leash and my foster dad is working on that with me. I love my treats!  I can be a little shy around new people but I warm up pretty quickly. It took me no time with my foster dad to feel comfortable enough to jump up in his lap the first day I went home with him. I love car rides and will run to the car or pull towards the car every time we go outside to go potty. 

I’m heart worm positive and will finish my treatment at the end of August . I was recently spayed as well as microchipped.
