Let us introduce River to PLP! 
River is a Great Pyrenees mix who came to us a few weeks ago. His mom is a Great Pyrenees who lives outside because she sheds so much and she had not been spayed.   (we have offered to help with that). So we don't know what he is mixed with but it must be cute and sweet! 
River is about 4 months old and weighs around 40 lbs. River is very active and his favorite things to do include running, jumping, and playing whenever he gets the chance! He is going to be VERY BIG so will need a lot of outdoor space to run and play or someone very active to take him on lots of adventures! 
He is crate trained but still working on house manners as he is still a puppy. He loves to play with other dogs, loves to play tug of war and loves to chew on healthy chew bones, bully sticks and stuffed kongs! He does bark when he is playing as well. 
River is great with children and all other dogs but he doesn't realize how big he is so he must be supervised with small animals or small kids.  He wants to run and chase the kitty in his foster home but the kitty doesn't like that too much so something to be aware of if you have cats. 
River is working on leash manners but again, he is a big puppy who wants to play and run and will need some guidance and training. 
River SHEDS a LOT! His future owner will need to have him groomed regularly and will be sweeping up hair regularly so be aware of this if applying to adopt! He needs to be brushed every few days and will need professional grooming every couple of months. This can cost between $70 and $100 for a dog this size.
River will do best with a big yard to play in with other dogs or someone very active. He will need healthy chew bones and someone who can deal with LOTS of dog hair and grooming appointments. In return he will give you lots of love and cuddles. 
River is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, current on flea and heartworm preventative and will be neutered September 9. He will be available after that. He comes with all vet records, leash and collar. 
Approved app, vet and personal references, and home visit required. He is located in Myrtle Beach, SC. We will take applications for the next week and choose the best home for RIVER! His adoption donation is $250.00
