Laney is a sweet, sweet 3 year old Terrier mix. She was on the run in North Carolina on her own and having pups for some time before Animal control was able to catch her. She was terrified when she came into the shelter. She was very underweight and, of course, heartworm positive. 

She has gained weight and now weighs 32 lbs. She is now utd on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on slow kill heartworm treatment/preventative. (proheart) She will need another Proheart injection in 5 months which doubles as a preventative and costs around $35.00-40.00 dollars. 

Laney loves to go for walks and walks like the perfect lady that she is on the leash. A good walk several times a day is all she needs. She has low exercise needs. ;) 

Laney is completely housebroken and goes to the door if she needs to go out. She knows and expects a treat upon returning. She is great with other dogs and has ignored the cat. She is timid at first when she meets another dog but warms up with time. She has not been around children. She doesn't like thunderstorms. 

Laney prefers to sit next to her person and doesn't like the crate. (she doesn't need one) Loves her bed. Not interested in toys at the moment but probably never had one. She is extremely laid back. Loves being brushed and petted. Will Netflix and chill with you for hours.  Also she does great in a car. She also sheds very little. She has wirey hair.
