Let us officially introduce Chico! 
My name is CHICO and I am approximately a 7-8 year old, tan, male Chihuahua. I only weigh 11 pounds. 
I was living in NC when my owner passed and, unfortunately no one else could take care of me, so I was surrendered to the Columbus Co shelter. When the shelter vet examined me he discovered I was very neglected and needed immediate rescue.  PLP was contacted and they picked me up right away and I moved into my foster mom's house. 

Wow it's a LOT of fun here! There are 3 other dogs, plus the neighbors have 4 big dogs, 2 cats, and a toddler... being the type of house guest I am, I get along GREAT with everyone. 

Once I arrived to the beach I was given the 5 star treatment! I had to have my giant testicle removed (possible cancer) and have been on meds for HW but now i am feeling so much better. Oh yeah, they did remove most of my teeth but let me keep my cool snaggle tooth. I also desperately needed a PAWdicure. 

I am totally down to go for car rides, walks, baths, and adventures of all kinds but I really enjoy being snuggled with my human. I could sleep most of the day wrapped in a blanket or sweater. You probably won't even notice I'm home until it's time to eat. Sometimes my foster mom doesn't move fast enough. I have to let out a few yelps like a fire alarm so she remembers I'm here and hungry! Otherwise, I don't make a peep. 

I enjoy being able to roam free in my fenced yard. I go in and out of the doggie door. My Foster Mom puts me and my foster brothers in our lil apartment when she goes to work. When she gets home I go right outside otherwise I may pee on the way out the door. 

Hmm what else... I'm cool, I'm kind, I get along with everyone and I'd be the MOST WONDERFUL addition to any home - single adults that need a companion or a family that is ready for the LOVE of an older dog.

I am now neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and current on flea and tick preventative. I finish my Heartworm meds this week and received a 6 month Proheart on November 7th so I only need another Proheart 6 months from that date to finish my treatment. (About 35-45 dollars) I also had a dental. They also did bloodwork and it was perfect ! 
I am located in Myrtle Beach, SC. 

Approved application, home visit, and references required. My adoption donation is $250.00 and I come with all vet records, leash and collar.
