Fill out an Adoption Application

Hi, my name is Brownie. I am approximately 4 years old and I weigh 13 lbs. I am a handsome and sweet little guy with two bottom teeth that stick out over my lip giving me the nickname of "snaggle tooth".  They make me look ferocious but I am really just a small bundle of love. I am staying with my foster family complete with other chis and cats and get along with all of them. I'm not a big fan of larger dogs right now. They intimidate me. They think my owner passed away and that is why I was surrendered. I go for walks but I am still learning to go potty outside and am currently using pee pads in the house. My foster mom thinks that is what I did in my former home before being turned into the shelter. My new family will have to be patient and continue to help me master the outside potty. I am not a fan of the crate but am ok with being separated by a baby gate when needed. If you put me in a crate I have been known to yell, try to get out and will destroy it if possible.  I don't chew on anything else so your shoes and belongings are safe around me. I walk great on a leash but I am learning about being outside and certain noises or wind scares me. I just need a little patience to learn about all these new situations. My FAVE thing to do is play fetch!! I can play catch as long as you throw the ball and I will always bring it back. My foster mom plays fetch with me all the time! I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, chipped, and current on flea and tick preventative. I also was given Proheart, a 6 month heartworm prevention injection. My adoption donation is $250 and I come with all of my vet records, leash, collar, and a small bag of food.  Approved application,  home visit and references required to adopt.
