Fill out an Adoption Application

Miss Mitzi came from a local rural shelter. She is a female 1 year old  Redbone coonhound mix(?) that weighs  23lbs.  She has a nice smooth rust colored coat, no grooming required!  She is great with other dogs and cats and we think she would be fine with kids but she hasn't been around any.  She is HIGH energy!!!!  This girl stays on the move.   She absolutely loves squeaky toys and high quality chew bones.  Anything to keep her busy.  She's not scared of a thing as far as we have seen.   She's a vocal dog, she even makes noises when playing with toys.   Great in the car but needs to be picked up to get in. Perfect on leash.  She still has a tendency to have a few accidents here and there in the house but we are working on it.  She will use a puppy pad.  She is crate trained-ish: she will go in but whines and barks until she realizes she's in for bed.  As high energy as she is because of her size,  we don't think a fenced in yard is a necessity.  She's very sweet and loving when she sits still.
