Rocky is a beautiful Rottweiler who sadly spent the first 2 years of his life living outside. He was rescued by Peace, Love, and Paws and immediately got the care and love he always deserved. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs in at an impressive albeit statuesque 90lbs. Rocky is a loving boy who loves cuddles and is very affectionate. He is great with people and other dogs, but given his size he should be supervised when around children and other animals. Rocky is the perfect companion. He is full of energy at playtime but is also just as happy to lounge around and nap when it’s quiet. Rocky will need regular walks. He is very smart and would benefit from enrichment activities at home. He loves car rides and walks well on a leash, but will need some training as he (initially) tends to pull towards other dogs. He is crate trained and nearly housebroken which is impressive given his history of living outside - with regularly scheduled potty breaks.  He’s absolutely perfect!

Rocky will need a strong handler. He has not been around cats. He loves the beach! 

He is finishing his heartworm treatment this week and will only need a proheart injection in 5 months. (cost is around $100 and this also serves as a preventative) He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and current on flea and tick preventative. He comes with leash, collar, and all vet records.
