Fill out an Adoption Application

This is Legend. He is approximately 2.5 yrs old retriever/lab/ chow mix who weighs about 60 pounds.  Legend was living outside and uncared for when he found himself at the county shelter. He had missing hair and skin infections and was heartworm positive. His time was up when we stepped up and took him in. He has quickly adjusted to living in a home and his skin and weight issues are quickly being resolved. Legend likes to play with both people and other dogs. He has a fantastic disposition, likes to play with toys, ropes and is a fun, happy guy.  At night, Legend sleeps with one of his dog buddies on a dog bed but if allowed, we suspect he would love to sleep with his human!  Legend walks well on the leash. He loves long walks and would be a great exercise buddy!   He does not bark much. He loves to play fetch with a ball. He is a quick learner and motivated by food. He has learned to sit and will patently wait while his food is being prepared. He likes all people he meets and would be a great family dog. 

Legend has now been neutered, received all vaccines, is microchipped, and being treated for heartworms. He has received a 6 month Proheart injection for treatment and prevention so no monthly pills to give.
