Welcome Mango to PLP! 
Little miss Mango came into a Georgia shelter as a stray!  
She is 3-4 years old and only 7 lbs. She needs to gain a few lbs as she is super thin right now but she is also super picky! Whoever had her in her past must have fed her people food because her foster mom has been having a struggle to get her to eat. She did have some blue buffalo canned food last night mixed with some softened kibble so we are on the right path.  
Mango is a velcro dog and loves to be right next to her person. She will go in a crate but likes to see her person or she will cry. 
She sleeps under the covers right next to her foster mom or in a crate. She doesn't want to be abandoned again! Can you blame her? 
She can be left out while you leave the house; just leave a pee pad for her. She walks great on a leash and will go outside and do her business as well. 
She is currently afraid of small kids, men and bigger dogs. She is starting to warm up to the hubby in the foster home slowly. Mango is also terrified of thunderstorms. Poor girl probably was outside alone during one! Who knows what happened to her but we are here to help her find her happily ever after and never be afraid again.  
Mango is now spayed, utd on vaccines, chipped, and current on preventatives. 
She would love someone who is home a lot and who would be her constant companion. 
Mango likes other small dogs and ignores the cat in her foster home.
Mango can slip thru a fence and doesn’t like to be contained behind baby gates so she wears a donut occasionally for her safety.

Mango is located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Home visit, approved application, and adoption donation of $250 required.
