Fill out an Adoption Application

Sugar Bear came to PLP after her owner could no longer care for her.  We learned that her approximate age was 19 years old and so we were uncertain if she would be put up for adoption. Our vet was amazed at what good shape she is in for her age. She has had a dental, x-rays, and blood work done. She moves a little slowly, but what senior gal doesn’t? But with the help of some pain medication, glucosamine, and CBD, she’s got some pep in her step once again! Sugar bear also loves to ride in a stroller.  She eats dry and wet senior food mixed together. Sugar Bear will ask for some lap time but also tells you when she’s done. She has some accidents but who doesn’t(!)…. her foster mom carries  her outside about  4 + times a day to use the restroom.  Sugar Bear will stay in a crate without complaint but also does well in a gated room when her foster mom is away. She gets along with the dogs, cats, and chickens in her foster home…..and also small children!  
Sugar Bear puts a smile on our faces every day.  She will do the same for you. Sugar Bear would probably be the happiest in a quiet home where her person is with her most of the time. Are you that special someone? Approved application, home visit, and adoption donation of $100 required.
