Welcome PLP’s newest rescue, Mitzi moo!
Mitzi is a Female, spayed, Chihuahua, weighs 9.4 lbs and will be 4 years old this month. Located in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Mitzi would be a perfect “apartment dog” for an older lady or couple since she does NOT bark or appreciate walks. She loves sitting on the couch next her person for hours and will follow you around to see what you’re up to (in between naps). She hasn’t lived with other animals before, but doesn’t mind the other small dogs and cat in her foster home. She’s great in the car.
Mitzi is a little “extra special”, but this doesn’t stop her from being an amazing, loving little girl. She was born with slight neurological issues that affect her balance (nothing major- she needs to be picked up/down if you want her on the couch, she can’t navigate stairs, etc) Her eyesight isn’t 100% and her tongue is almost always out. She was “bopped on the nose” in her home and will show her teeth if she’s scared, but she does not bite. Once she trusts you - she’s a total love bug. She’s not fully house trained. She only goes “potty” a few times a day, so it’s not a huge deal! For the last 4 years, she was only let out onto a screened porch several times a day, where she did her business. That is all she knows. She’s really not a fan of the grass. We are working on it.
If you are you’re patient and accept Mitzi’s adorable quirks, she will be your best buddy. Lounging on the couch, napping, following you around the house and playing are her favorite things to do. Make a little fur girl’s dream come true and please fill out an adoption application here:

Mitzi is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, flea preventative and the 6 month proheart heartworm preventative.
Her adoption fee $200 includes her beds, vet records, food and belongings. All she needs now is a loving, patient home.
