Fill out an Adoption Application

Sweet Face Ace is such a happy sweet dog. He found himself in a predicament when he was seized by Animal Control and taken to the county shelter. The "owner" surrendered Sweet face and the rest of the many dogs that were part of a cruelty case. Ace, luckily only had a little bit of a skin infection going on which was nothing we couldn't fix right up with some vet care. 

When he was surrendered, the owner told the shelter his name was "Sweet Face", because, well, he is so sweet. :)  Since it seemed a little odd calling him that, we added Ace since it rhymed. :) 

Ace gets along great with all dogs and cats. He loves to have someone to play with. He loves to snuggle with people. He would love someone he could sleep with at night because he is a snuggle bug and wants to be right next to you. 

Ace loves to eat! He may benefit from a slow feeder bowl. After not getting quite enough food in his past, he wants to make sure he gets every bite! He loves snacks also, and would love to go to a home who rewards him with treats. :) 

Ace is doing well with his leash training/manners. He is a little hesitant getting in and out of the car but he is learning. Once he gets in the vehicle he rides very well. 

Ace is crate trained and housebroken. He has had only a few accidents since arrival to his foster home. He is now neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, chipped and current on all preventatives. He also got a 6 month Proheart for heartworm preventative. 

Ace loves all people and will make a great addition to any family. 

He is young and playful, about a year old and 58 lbs.
