A few weeks ago, Chloe and a few other dogs were dumped near a ditch where they found themselves in a drainpipe. Some good Samaritans helped get them out and they called us for help. We offered to take Chloe as animal control wouldn't help as all the shelters were full. :(
We got this 9ish month old pup to the vet right away. She was full of parasites and very thin. She now weighs around 35 lbs. and is a bit of a low rider.
Chloe is very timid but a complete love bug once she is comfortable and trusts you. She is already crate, leash and house trained in just the few short weeks she has been in a foster home. Chloe rides in the car well but doesn't seem to enjoy riding right now. Maybe since she was dropped off, she is worried it may happen again. :(
Chloe is good with cats. She needs slow introductions to other female dogs but does well with the males in her foster home. She does not want to share her food since she probably went without food for a while so this is something to work on if other dogs in the house. She likes to eat in private.
Chloe should be good with older kids; may knock younger ones down.
Chloe is a sweet puppy who had a rough start, but she is very easy to love.
She is up to date, chipped, spayed, got a 6-month heartworm preventative injection, and is current on flea and tick preventative. She comes with all vet records, leash and collar. Approved application, home visit, and adoption donation of $200 required.
