Felix is a young (approx. 1 yr. old), 7-pound Chihuahua/Fox Terrier mix (best guess) who came to us as a stray covered in fleas and huge ticks. He’s had a whirlwind of a time since arriving. He’s enjoyed spa visits, vet visits, meeting new people, playing with other small dogs and learning how to be an inside dog. He tested positive for Lyme Disease and has been treated with antibiotics for this.  Fortunately, he’s heartworm negative!! 
Felix is a total love bug whose tail is constantly wagging. He enjoys cuddling with his person on the couch and in the bed, if allowed, although he is crate trained. Felix loves other small dogs and playing with toys (especially tug of war). He walks well on a leash, is good in the car and is a fast learner who is eager to please. He’s just so happy to be indoors, eating well and lapping up all of the attention.  We do recommend another small dog(s) in the home, an active home who will play with and walk him. We feel he would be a great family dog if kids are gentle, respectful and are careful not to let him slip out of the door/yard. Cat(s) ok with proper introductions and supervision at first. A fenced yard is a plus. 
Felix is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, crate trained, house training in progress, leash trained, has the 6-month Proheart shot/heartworm preventative, flea preventative and is being fostered in the Myrtle Beach SC area. 
Home visit, approved application and reference checks required. Adoption donation $200.00
