Hey, if you happen to see the most beautiful girl in the world You can stop looking right now! Here she is... Maumas, also known as Molly, Mama, Mamacita.  Living the life in her fabulous foster home, Maumas is ready to move into a forever home.

Maumas is a Pumi with the most soulful eyes. A what? A Pumi is a small breed (about 20lbs) Hungarian Sheepdog.  Sheepdog? No way! Yes way! No, she does not get long hair or shed, nor does she need a herd to gather. However, once she gets to know you, she will steal your heart & run away with it. It just takes a little time. Maumas is estimated to be about 8 years old. She spent a good portion of her life providing puppies for backyard breeders & living a life of neglect. Sadly, her face shows it on the one side. But honestly, it just gives her character! 

Maumas has good house manners, is still learning to walk like a lady (without pulling), prefers to be an only dog but does well with others, is definitely a cat chaser, loves a lap & attention, loves to chase her ball & go for walks, snuggles up to you in bed, gives great kisses & can be very vocal. She barks & whines & talks!  A fenced yard would be ideal so she can play ball! 

Maumas, because of her extreme loyalty, when petted, can be snippy. She is not fond of strangers petting her but she sure loves it when her owner does!  She would thrive best in a home with adults, preferably a small family of 1 or 2 that understand her needs. No kids & no more than 1 or 2 other dogs.  Maumas does not do well crated but does very well with free run of the house. She loves & I mean loves a car ride & is very good in the car. Starbucks for a pupcup & you got a friend for life! She loves her toys & is respectful of your things. However, she feels like your bed should be her bed if you want her to get a good night's sleep.

Mamaus is a wonderful companion for someone who is home most of the time. Her foster truly loves her but knows she deserves to be number 1.  Are you that special person?  

Maumas came to us when her former owner could no longer care for her and asked us for help. We took her in and have been learning about her and she has now completed all of her vetting and is ready to find a forever home.
