Lili is an 8-10 year old, 9.6 lb Maltese who is searching for her forever home. When she arrived at PLP we were told she was 12 years old and was testy with the female dog in her home, but not the male dog. Turns out, she had a UTI for months and desperately needed a dental. No wonder she could be a bit grumpy. Our vet also guessed her to be  quite younger.
Flash forward to her new life!!! Lili has had several vet visits, vaccines, a dental, (where unfortunately, she lost 8 teeth) and has been treated for her urinary tract infection. She finally has the A-OK from our vet!! Lili is feeling great!!! She is a cuddle buddy who would love someone who’s home a lot. She enjoys being next to her person and has high hopes to sleep in your bed. However, she is crate trained, mostly house trained and knows how to use pee pads. Lili is good on the leash, enjoys walks and is very inquisitive. She likes meeting new people and gets along with the other dogs in her foster home and at the groomer. . Because of her attention seeking nature, Lili would prefer to be the only dog in the home so she receives all of the attention, but she would be fine with another dog. She’s a sweet girl who just wants to be near her person. Do you have room on your couch? Lili does like to jump and scratch for attention so may be too much for someone with thin skin. 
She also wakes up super early and will get you up regardless of if she really needs to go out. She will bark, scratch and whine and is extremely needy so may not be best for an apartment. 
She is not 100% housebroken in her foster home so someone will have to be diligent taking her out. She is prone to getting urinary tract infections and will need regular grooming. (It took us 2 vet trips and 2 rounds of antibiotics for her to be rid of the uti. 

Lili is spayed, microchipped, crate trained, mostly housetrained, walks well on leash/harness, knows basic commands, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm meds (6 month proheart), flea prevention and being fostered in the Myrtle Beach, SC. Approved application, home visit and vet references required. Adoption donation $200.00
