Meet Pugsley, or Pugs for short. 
Puglsey was found dodging traffic several weeks ago. A good Samaritan picked him up and searched for his owner, but no one came forward. After a week she reached out to us, and we brought him into PLP. He has since gone to the vet and was neutered, and his vetting updated. He received all vaccines, snap test, fecal and chip and he received heartworm treatment. He will need another proheart injection in 6 months. (Around 35 dollars) and he does not need monthly preventative while on this. 
Pugsley appears to be a Pug and beagle mix but we would not know for sure without a DNA test. He is 17 lbs and around three years old. He has a short coat and is easy maintenance.  He is super cute and friendly. 
Pugs lives with two dogs (both larger than him) and two cats in his foster home and gets along with all. He will play with the cat who likes to play but listens when he is told NO when harassing the other cat in the home.  He has not been around children, but we believe he would be fine; however, he will bolt out a door so something to be aware of. 
Pugsley is good with all people but can be a little leery of men in hats. 
Pugs loves to play, snuggle with his toy raccoon, and play ball. He likes to snuggle with his humans on the couch or on your lap. He doesn't bark much unless the doorbell rings but it's only a few barks. He is good in the car and likes to sit in his bed in the back seat. He will shake at first, (could have been let out in traffic- we don't know) but calms down soon. He doesn't move around the car or bark when riding. 
He is good on a leash and a harness works well for him.
He is crate trained but will bark and cry for the first 5 minutes. He likes sleeping in bed with his humans or on the bedroom floor in his bed. 
Pugs would love a fenced yard and another playmate. He does sneak and run out the door when given a chance so gates can be beneficial. He sometimes goes in the crate when company comes to his foster home. Pugs doesn't like to be crated long periods of time. 
He would love someone to take him on walks and adventures and/or a doggy playmate.
