Randy is available after being returned again.   Poor guy has been passed around several times since his owner died.

Randy is a sweet boy when he trusts you. He just needs someone who will give him the patience and time he deserves to settle in that is longer than a couple of days or weeks. He does best when not allowed in bed with his humans, he gets protective when moved or when someone else gets close to "his person". He is perfectly fine sleeping in a crate or dog bed on the floor. He needs structure and rules.

He has a bite history from being moved or when on the bed as he gets protective. Removing triggers which cause this behavior works best. A visit from our trainer said he was given too much freedom and keep off the bed. Otherwise he is a good boy.

He is doing great in his new foster home. He is housebroken, crate trained and doing good on the leash.

He can be a little nervous before he knows you but soon gives lots of kisses and snuggles.
He is 6 years old and 14 pounds.
Randy does try to chase cats so we recommend a home without cats. He is good with other dogs, loves to play, and loves the dog park. He may need to be fed separately from other animals. He likes to eat in peace.

Randy needs to go to a home with no kids.

Also, adopter will be required to get a trainer to give advice on what triggers him if necessary.  Usually, one or two sessions is all we humans need o learn what triggers little nervous dogs and prevent any future issues. Our trainer evaluated Randy and can advise any adopter or adopters will be responsible for their own.

Approved application, home visit, and adoption donation of $200 required.

Randy is neutered, utd, chipped, and  current on preventatives

Randy will NOT be placed in a home with children.
