Max has had a rough start and is looking for a new beginning. A few months ago, Max's home burned down, and he was taken to an Animal Shelter in North Carolina with his doggie brother. As if that wasn’t traumatic enough, his brother was adopted, and he was left alone and scared. Max is black and white and only weighs about 15 lbs. He is neutered, chipped, heart-worm negative and is up to date on vaccines. He also received 6 months of heartworm preventative. Although he’s a little timid meeting new people, he is such a sweetie, without a mean bone in his body. He may have a little separation anxiety but who can blame him after all he has been through? He loves to cuddle with you once he warms up to you. He’s working on house training and leash walking and getting better every day. He does well in the car and gets along with other dogs. We’re not sure about cats or small children as none live at his foster home. He loves to eat (who doesn’t?) and is not picky at all. He sleeps through the night in his crate and only barks when he has to go out. Max doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything and loves his daily walks and car rides. Max is a very laid back “attention”seeker and would love to be your sidekick. Are you willing to give him the forever home this sweetie deserves? Max is located in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.
Approved application, home visit, housing restrictions, and adoption donation of $250.00 required.
