Sasha came into a shelter as a stray, very emaciated and unhealthy. She was terrified so was only available to rescue groups. We saw her potential and snagged her right up!
Sasha has been completely vetted, treated for demodox mange, and is microchipped and spayed. She was also given a six-month heartworm preventative and comes with a few months of flea meds which helps with the skin issues which are healing up. She is eating a lot since being freed from the scary shelter and has come out of her shell.
Sasha is ten pounds and 5-6 years old. She is good on the leash, in the car and is crate trained. Sasha is a quiet little girl who loves attention and being next to her person. She loves to go for walks and be outside in the yard. She can fit thru a fence so something to be aware of. Sasha is a perfect little dog for one person who is home a lot and laid back. She doesn't require a lot.
Sasha is shy and timid when meeting new people and was very scared when we first sprung her. We do not think loud small children would be a good fit but older respectful kids may be ok. She has not been around any kids since joining us. She is tiny, quiet, and has a wiry coat. She seems to want to meet other dogs on her walks.
She was just cleared at our vet and got some meds for allergies. Another few weeks of good nutrition and she should be completely healthy.
She sleeps thru the night and loves to eat. She is eating some premium human grade food with a little canned food mixed in.
Sasha is located in the Carolina Shores area of North Carolina, a little over an hour north of Myrtle Beach.
Home visit, approved application and references required. Her adoption donation is $175.
