Miss Beverly adopted Princess Leah after meeting her at the Furricane event 5 years ago…… She passed away in her sleep a few nights ago. Beverly is devastated, understandably. RIP Princess. We are happy you lived in a loving home these past five years.

In March 2022 a local shelter contacted us to take a sweet, older dachshund who was in pretty bad shape. Of course we stepped up but the poor guy had been neglected for a very long time. He was around 12 years old. We spent some time working on ear and skin infections and working on his health.
His foster parents then adopted him and he had a fabulous loving home!
Unfortunately, Sir Winston’s little body was tired and he gained his angel wings a few months back.
We love every plp pup and they are always a part of the Plp family.
We are sorry we couldn’t save you sooner sweet Winston. There is never enough time with our precious pups.
We are thankful for your family who gave you a wonderful couple of years.
Forever in our hearts and blessed to be part of your journey.

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our Grandpa Chewy. Chewy was at the county shelter just over a year ago when we rescued him. He stayed in a temporary spot until we found a foster home. After a short period, the new foster family asked us to move Chewy, leading us to find another temporary spot. Eventually, he found a permanent foster home who adopted him.
Thank you, Mike!
A few months ago, Chewy developed a highly aggressive cancer near his face and mouth. Nevertheless, he lived his best life, visiting the beach and receiving extra affection until his departure from the world last week.
This serves as a poignant reminder to appreciate and love our companions daily, as our time with them is limited. We extend our sympathies to Chewy's dad, Mike, and all those who played a role in his story. Chewy will forever be an angel in our hearts. We feel grateful to have been part of his life.

We are heartbroken to learn of the loss of sweet Lili.
Senior Lili joined Plp in 2022 as an owner surrender. She had a terrible Uti that had been untreated for months and she desperately needed a dental and extractions. We fixed her all up and she was adopted into the perfect home
Big hugs to Lili’s mom, Mary lou and all who loved this sweet angel. We are so sorry .
Always in our hearts , we were blessed to be part of her journey .
Rest in Paradise beautiful soul.

Our little Piper crossed the rainbow bridge. Kathy, you were the best dog mom she could ever have. I’m so very sorry rip sweet girl
