Wren

Happy Gotcha Day Wrennie Wren!
Wren came into a North Carolina shelter last month as a lone little pup. She was there for a few weeks with no interest. (Black dogs are usually last adopted..i.e. black dog syndrome) We said we would take her, we found a foster home, and sprung the happy girl.
Wren was sooo happy to be free!! She wagged and wagged and wagged!
She finished her vetting last week and was ready for her forever home.  She hit the jackpot when her new family applied, She lives near a dog park, has a big back yard, and a doggy and human siblings to play with.
Thank you Jamie for fostering and Case family for adopting and not shopping! Wren received her Christmas wish- a home for the holidays! Have a wonderful life!

Wilbur

Congratulations to little Wilbur who has found his forever home with his foster mom! :)
Wilbur came to us at the beginning of August after he was supposedly bought off craigslist and then turned into a North Carolina shelter. A hurricane was approaching so we didn't want the little guy there alone and scared as he was just a baby. :(
He settled into his foster home and became fast friends with another little dog, Asa who was also adopted thru PLP a few years ago. Wilbur was scared of a lot of things and little Asa and he bonded quickly.
His foster Mom decided he should stay and yesterday we made it official. Congrats Wilbur, Michelle, and family!
Have a wonderful life!

Winnie

Happy gotcha day Winnie! ❤ï¸Â Winnie came from a hoarding situation along with 5 other dogs we rescued in rural SC.  She has been with our director the last 6 weeks learning how to be a dog. (house manners, leash walking, going places, and seeing the world!).  When one of our current fosters saw her, she wanted to meet her and possibly add her to the family.
Winnie fit right in and joined her new mom and dad and her new doggy siblings, Major and Sadie this week.

She is loving her new family and new back yard and is so loved!

Thank you Erin for adopting! We hope to get lots of updates and pics of our little munchkin.
love you Winnie !
