At the end of May, on a busy Sunday we received a message asking if we could pull a dog who was about to be euthanized for space in a North Carolina kill shelter. The volunteer (Kristi) said he was one of her all time favorites and she could even hold him for us until he could travel our way. I posted an urgent plea not expecting much on a Sunday afternoon but that evening after trying again someone offered to help. (Thank you Debi!)
Rowdy joined Plp and everyone loved him! H e was the perfect gentleman and such a sweet boy! ❤️
Fast forward to Thursday when Rowdy made a trip to Wilmington to meet his potential family! It was love at first sight for all parties! ❤️
Rowdy is home and we are so happy! He almost didn’t make it out of the shelter ... this is why rescue and adoption are so important! 🐾
