Our little 8lb Laffy "troublemaking" Taffy has had one wild ride! She found herself in a rural shelter back in March, all alone and scared. We sprung her immediately and she joined PLP.
She soon had to move from one foster home to another because of a foster mom's health issue. There she and the resident dog had a little scuffle. She went to the ER but was ok; just scary for us.
She was adopted in April but after only a few days, the retired couple said she was too much and they didn't have time for her. She went back to her foster home where she was happy and no trouble!
Taffy then went to an adoption event at the end of April where she met a young couple and their toddler. She loved the child and they soon applied and adopted. Two weeks later they wanted to return her but then we didn’t hear back so we thought they had changed their mind.
Last week they contacted us and said she didn't fit in because she liked to chew the babies toys so back to her foster family she went!
Taffy's foster family welcomed her with open arms and she didn't miss a beat fitting back in. She loves playing in the fenced yard and loves playing with a small doggy resident, Opie, who just happened to come from the same shelter and also was adopted from PLP.
Because Taffy has been thru so much her foster family decided that she should just STAY. This is her HOME after all.
Maybe the little troublemaker had a plan of her own this entire time.
Taffy is now Cindy Leigh and will never be bounced around again.
Thank you Teri and John for being Taffy's angels and chauffeurs the last few months.
Have a wonderful life Sweet girl!
