Archie

Archie found himself living in a crowded, loud, rural shelter.
Day in and day night, it was the same. They rarely get out of their prison cells as there are few volunteers. A puppy with no one to play with, no one to teach him the way, no warm bed or belly rubs.
People walk by and occasionally a dog leaves; some go to rescue, some get adopted. The unlucky ones get walked to the back room. 😢
After two months in his "cell", Archie's number came up. A puppy at only around ten months; how could this be? He was scheduled to be euthanized. (See pic) This is the way the shelter system works in many places.
Luckily, for Archie, he had a few people in his corner. I, the director of PLP had my eye on him. I couldn't believe someone hadn't snagged him up. His body language showed he was scared, but he was so handsome and needed a second chance. He was a BABY!
We made a plea for a foster, and someone stepped up! (thank you Bailey)
Archie made the trip from North Carolina, and he them got to spend his first Christmas in a home.
His time in foster care left an impression on his foster family. He became best buds with everyone and fit in so perfectly that they decided to make him a forever  part of the family!
Archie will never be alone and scared again! Look at his big, beautiful family! woohoo
Someone stepping up to foster led to Archie getting the life he deserves.
Congratulations Archie and family. We are so thankful and happy for you all! Please keep us updated as we all fell in love with him!
Have a wonderful life!
