Congrats to our little senior man, Gus who has found his forever home.
Gus was found as an emaciated stray back in April and taken to the county shelter. No one came looking for him during his stray hold, so we stepped in.
Gus was in bad shape, skin and bones, had stage four dental disease with a fistula that needed surgical repair. His teeth were extremely painful, and he needed a lot of TLC, a dental, bloodwork plus a temporary liquid diet and soft food.
It took our little guy just over two months to transform into a healthy, alert, happy boy who was no longer in pain and loved to eat! He gained three pounds while in our care. His coat now shines, and he has filled out wonderfully since his surgery and dental.
Thank you, Debra, for adopting this handsome senior.
We hope to see lots of updates.
We love you, Gus. Go live the life you have always deserved.
Thank you to your foster mom and everyone else who helped out along Gus’s journey. :)
