Starling is a 22lb little nugget of fun!!!  We think she is a chihuahua German short haired pointer mix and she is just the perfect size for anybody.  She was turned into a high kill shelter with her house mates when their owner passed away and the family wouldn't keep them.   She is the only one left waiting for her perfect home and she just finished her treatment for heartworm and lyme disease.   She loves cats and gets along great with other dogs with the right introduction.  She warms up to new people instantly and has yet to meet a person or kid she doesn't like.   She is leash trained but also good off leash.   Toys are still new to her, she loves to chase another dog with a toy but doesn't understand playing with it when she gets it.   She loves a good car ride.  Her personality is highly adaptive.  She loves to cuddle but she is content napping on her own if needed.  She will steal your food if you aren't paying attention haha. 100% crate trained but of course prefers to have the run of the house.   Starling is spayed, up to date on vetting, and on heart worm and  flea preventative.  Since February is Black Dog awareness month, her adoption fee is reduced to $200!
