Little Ben!
Ben is a little 10 lb. guy who was taken to a North Carolina shelter after his owner tripped over him. :( 
He was very unsocialized when he came to us but has been working on meeting new people. Ben does best if you let him approach you first. Once he is used to you, he will be your best friend! He lives with lots of dogs and cats in his foster home. He gets along with the smaller dogs in his home but chases and barks at the cats. 
Ben doesn’t seem to like big dogs and he will need to go to a home without young kids. He is temperamental and can be a bit snippy until he gets to know you and but once he knows you, he is all kisses. Once he trusts you, he is a sweet little guy who loves to be petted and get love. He also loves to play with other small dogs his size and will play all day. He likes to go out in the yard and dig and explore (supervised of course) and walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. His foster mom has been taking him on outings so he can experience new situations and he is doing well. 
Ben was just neutered so isn’t completely housebroken but wears a belly band to help with that as there are many other dogs in the home.  (He wants to mark but that should subside in a few weeks) 
Ben is fully vetted, heartworm negative, vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and just got 6 months Heartworm preventative. 
He comes with leash, collar and vet records. He is being fostered in Georgetown SC
Approved application, home visit, and adoption donation of $200 required.
