Remembering sweet Paisley..
Paisley came to us in 2019 during our Furricane adoption event. She had been posted on social media in the Charleston area as “free and unwanted”.
We sprung into action with transport, a foster and soon to be several vet visits.
This sweet little angel had been so neglected. Her hair was matted, her nails extremely overgrown, and she had a mouth full of very bad teeth. During vetting and grooming she stayed so sweet and thankful and loved everyone.
After one meet that did not result in adoption, Paisley’s foster mom decided to adopt her.
For the next 4 years, our sweet little princess lived the pampered life, wearing dresses and getting lots of love.
Paisley passed away unexpectedly a few months ago. She was fourteen.
We always try to honor and remember each dog who was a part of Plp. They are always in our hearts and part of the family forever. Rest in paradise sweet angel. We will never forget you.
Big hugs to your mom, we know she misses you every day.
Bindy is gone….. she has gained her wings. We tried to save her but her little body gave in to the pneumonia. We are absolutely devastated.
She was ready to find a family!! Last Thursday she was fine and went to the vet to be cleared for adoption. She had been spayed two weeks prior. Friday she woke up with pneumonia. She stayed at the hospital all day Friday and she was watched carefully over the weekend and although she wouldn’t eat, her cough got better.
Her X-rays looked better Monday am. Her sweet foster mom went to pick up the kids after school that day and they found her passed away upon their return ……
We took her back to the vet to say goodbye and for cremation..So devastated… she deserved her happily ever after after all she has been through. Bindy came from a rural shelter as a stray until joining us.
Hugs to our amazing foster family who gave this precious girl a real home for the last month.
Bindy was the sweetest little, happy girl. She loved the kids and other dogs in her foster home.
Look up in the sky tonight and find the brightest star, that’s our little angel looking down on us. Rest easy, sweet girl. :(
