One month ago we were contacted about a little old chi who was turned into the Columbus co shelter. She came with all her vet records up until 2019. Her former Mom obviously had loved her very much but had passed away last year, sadly.
Lola was very scared when she came to us and we knew the perfect foster home for her..
Lola saw our vet to update her vetting and recently had 14 teeth removed. She is now feeling better, and tonight she officially joined her foster family as a permanent member! woohoo
She joins Plp Paulie and Asher!! Thank you Kathy and Don for adopting 3 times from Plp!!
We are extremely grateful to families who adopt our seniors.
Have a wonderful rest of your life Lola!
Happy Gotcha day Lil Wayne!
Lil Wayne came to us last month after he was turned into a North Carolina shelter. We were surprised no one came looking for him but we scooped him up when his stray hold was up and he came to Myrtle Beach.
We updated his vetting and his foster family fell in love with him before he even hit the "adoption floor"!
Congratulations Lil Wayne and Walter family! We are so happy for you all!
Thank you Teri and John for always helping the PLP dogs. Thank you Liz and Kimberly for transporting and helping out with this little guy!
Have a wonderful life little man. Adopt: don't shop!
Happy Gotcha day (again) Lola Colata! Lola came to us back in March as an owner surrender.
We thought we had found her forever home in April but last month she was returned to us, by no fault of her own i might add.
Lola is a big, happy, active girl and needs a person who understands the breed and is willing to give her the time and training she needs and loves.
Luckily, a Rottie owning family saw our girl and applied, and Sunday Lola joined her new family! She now lives in Andrews on a huge farm with two other Rotties and a lab to run and play with.
Thank you Moore family for adding another sweet Rottie to your family and giving her a second chance.
Thank you Savannah for being her angel and giving her a place to crash for the last several weeks and playing ball with her every day!
We wish you a long happy life with your new family Lola!!
Adopt; don't shop!
Congrats to Little Bit who has found her forever family!
Little Bitcame to us a few weeks ago after her owners both passed away. She was not fixed or vetted so we updated all of that and yesterday she joined her forever family who had been wanting to add a small dog to their household.
Thank you Harden family for adopting and not shopping!
Have a great new life Little Bit!
Thank you Kathy and Don for fostering and taking such excellent care of Little Bit!
Congrats to Layla who has found her forever family!
Layla came to PLP a few weeks ago after her elderly family dumped her at the local county shelter.
They had gotten her as a puppy and at 7 months old decided she had too much energy.
We had an open foster willing to take her in so she went to the shelter and scooped her up! Thank you Penny!!
Layla was a sweet, funny, happy, playful girl and fit in instantly in her foster home. We completed her vetting and the search began for a forever home.
We went thru approved apps and saw one that caught our eye.
Holly and her family had recently purchased a new home with a big fenced yard and was looking for, not only a new addition to the family, but a playmate for their dog Maggie Moo.
It was a great match and Layla never looked back. ( as you can see)
Layla and her new family are happy as can be and Layla has so much fun playing with her new four legged sister!
Thank you Chance family for waiting to find the perfect “rescue dog”!
Have a wonderful life Layla!
Adopt; don’t shop!
