Happy adoption day to our sweet senior Dixie! Her owner passed away recently so I offered to take her in Peace, Love and Paws, Inc.. She had a spa day and a vet day and was ready to go! 
Miss Becky was here at her second home and saw Dixie and It was love at first sight!

In November we pulled this handsome boy from a North Carolina shelter. We were told he was so sad he would cry every night. Of course he was Heartworm positive so only a rescue could pull him. 
One of our fosters needed a chill dog as she worked a lot and we chose Doyle for her. Doyle was older and more laid back and he fit in immediately in his foster home. 
He finished his vetting around the holidays and when we asked for his bio to post him for adoption, his foster mom said she didn't think she could let him go. 
Today Doyle joined his foster mom, Courtney permanently! 
We went to Petsmart and he got a new toy and i bought him a happy birthday doggy cake for his adoption.

Congrats to Dolly who has found her forever home! 
Dolly came to us in November when her time was up at the county shelter. She was Heartworm positive so only a rescue could save her.  We secured a foster home and she received her treatment and vetting over the next month. 
All of Dolly’s dreams came true when she found her forever family over the weekend!

Congrats to Dayzee who has found her forever home... which just happens to be a beautiful beach front home in North Carolina! :) 
Dayzee came to us in July when someone found her near a swamp  in a rural area. She was all alone and scared. :( 
Dayzee joined PLP, was completely vetted, and was finally ready for her forever home when Heather contacted us. They were looking to add a rescue dog to their family. :) 
Yesterday the family drove down with their dog, Whitby for the meet and Dayzee went to the next part of her journey; her new HOME.

Congrats to Douglas (far right with blue harness) for finding his forever family. 
Douglas was part of a hoarding situation where we rescued 6 dogs who were all living in trash and waste in rural South Carolina. :(  Douglas had escaped thru a hole in the wall and was missing for two weeks. The minute he returned we sent a volunteer to pick him up. Thank you Amber!!
Douglas was dehydrated and full of parasites but we made sure he received the best vet care and last week he was neutered and finally ready for adoption. 
Thank you Campbell family for adopting our sweet boy and thank you Lisa for fostering.
