Happy Adoption Day to little Alice... finally!Alice and her sister Hazel came to us at the beginning of February from a hoarding situation in North Carolina. There had been 15 little dogs all living outside in filth and were surrendered to a rural shelter when their owner was hospitalized. They were so dirty each had to be bathed many times to get the funk off of them. 
Haze was adopted 2 months ago and Alice had lots of interest but Alice needed a special home. 
Janice was searching for a little dog and applied weeks ago. She had a setback with her dog's health and had to wait to meet little Alice but over the weekend they finally made it happen and sweet little Alice joined her forever family! yay! 
Thanks to everyone who had a part in Alice's journey! From transporting, to fostering, to taking her to adoption events! 
Alice's life has changed so much from what it was before and we are blessed to be a part of her journey!
