Congrats to little Yocco who is HOME for the holidays! ❤ï¸Â 
This young little pup came to us after a woman in Conway noticed he was living outside alone in the cold and rain.  You see he was given to his “owners” as a gift. They didn’t want a puppy and put him outside; they didn’t take him to the vet, and he was definitely in jeopardy outside at only 10lbs. 
Luckily, the neighbor, Stacy, asked about him and they agreed to relinquish him. We were contacted and our awesome Doxie foster family drove to Conway to pick him up the next day. 
Yocco was then completely vetted and had a meet with a family last weekend.
They decided he was the one and yesterday he joined his forever family in Summerville. Congrats Childers family and Yocco! 
Moral of story - please do not give pets as gifts this Christmas! Pets are lifelong commitments and cost a lot! 
Luckily for Yocco he will never spend another night outside alone. Thank you Stacy, Cassie and Scott family for helping the little guy!
