Rocky (aka Buddy)

Towards the end of December i received a message from someone asking if we had room for a male Rottweiler who had been living outside his entire life, uncared for. She had "rescued" him from one of the free sites but didn't think she could continue care and heartworm treatment after his first vaccines and tests. We found a foster home and took him in immediately.
We soon got "Rocky" all fixed up. He learned crate and house manners and he was nicknamed, "Buddy" by his temporary foster mama. He finished his vetting and the search was on for a family. He moved to a permanent foster home where he continued to learn how to be an indoor dog and he made great progress.
We had to find the right family for a 90 lb dog and it didn't take long to find it!
Rocky/Buddy joined his new family over the weekend, complete with a female Rottie named Ellie! He now has a sister and a huge back yard to run and play in! We couldn't be happier with this perfect match!!
Thank you Tillotson family for adopting and not shopping and thank you Marlena and Brooke for fostering this handsome boy!
Have a wonderful life Rocky!! We are so happy for you.

Raven

Congrats to Raven (Claudia at shelter) , for finding her forever home!
This sweet girl came to us last month from an over crowded North Carolina shelter.
Thank you Tara for fostering and Griffith family for adopting!!
Have a wonderful life Raven!

Raine

Happy Gotcha day to Raine!
Baby Raine joined PLP at the end of August when she came into a North Carolina shelter all alone and covered in fleas.
We scooped her up and she was so happy. She finished her vetting last week and we knew it wouldn't take long to find the perfect home.
Her new family recently lost their senior lab and was ready to adopt a puppy to help mend their broken hearts. When they met Raine yesterday they knew she was the ONE. Raine now has a new mom and dad, grandparents who live next door, and a little girl of her very own.
Thank you Sally for fostering Raine and teaching her how to be a good puppy.
Thank you Levison family for adopting and not shopping!!
Happy life Raine!

River

Congrats to River who has found his forever family!
It was Love at First Sight when River met his new Mom and Dad. (for all parties!) It's like he KNEW it was where he belonged.
River is a 4 month old Pyrenees mix pup who came to us in August. He finished his vetting Tuesday and was ready to go HOME.
London and Monica was ready to bring this big fella into their family as soon as they met him!
We know he is going to be going on lots of adventures with his new family which is exactly what he needs!
Thank you London and Monica for adopting and not shopping and thank you Renee for fostering!
Thank you Kimberly for helping to get this beauty to rescue so he could live his best life!!
Happy Life River! We love you!

Reagan

Happy gotcha day to our sweet girl, Reagan!!
Reagan came to us in July from a rural NC shelter.  She had been there several months, was heartworm positive and looked to have been used as a breeding machine in her past.
We did the heartworm treatment and got her all ready for her forever home. She came to several adoption events but no one was interested and we just couldn’t figure it out as she was PERFECT! Well it appears she was holding out because the PERFECT family found her! Congratulations to Reagan and the Miller family! Thank you for adopting from our rescue and giving our girl the family she so deserves! Thank you Tara for fostering her!! You are her angel!
We are over the moon!
Have a wonderful life!!
