Ms Cordelia adopted! 10/8/2020 
We got this sweet kitten after she was not being taken care of properly. We treated her respiratory infection, did all of her vetting and got her in tip top shape! It took a few weeks to find her forever home but it was worth it! 
Thank you Tara for fostering! (even while you are allergic!) Thank you Kathy for adding this kitty to your home!

Happy gotcha day Cora! 
A month ago sweet little Cora was living outside. When a family bought a new home, they arrived to move in and Cora was sleeping on their porch! The neighbors had been feeding her and she went house to house. The new home owners tried to find her owner, thinking she may be lost,  but she had obviously been left behind. 
Fast forward to today, Cora has been to the vet, is happy, healthy and HOME! 
Cora has a new home in Wilmington, NC with her new family!

Happy Gotcha day to Handsome Chance!! 
Chance came to PLP back in February thru word of one of our foster families.  Her friend had witnessed Chance being thrown from a car and went to his rescue! Being a Good Samaritan, she took Chance in and had him checked out at the vet. Luckily nothing was seriously hurt besides his ego and confidence. She named him "Chance" since he was given a second chance. We soon found a foster home for this big teddy bear. We finished his vetting and he settled in, soon blossoming and becoming more secure and confident. 
When Linda saw Chance on our facebook page, she immediately wanted to meet him. 
It turned out to be love at first sight, and today Chance joined Linda and his new doggie sister, Maggie permenently! 
Chance has a beautiful garden and yard to play in and his new Mom adores him!

Happy gotcha day to Miss Candi Pants!! 🙌 🙌 🙌
We pulled Candi from a NC shelter in July. Her time was up after her 8 puppies who came in with her were all adopted. 😞 A volunteer contacted us and Candi soon made her way to the beach where she settled into her foster home. During her routine spay the vet discovered Candi had breast cancer. 😞 So during her spay surgery she also had a mastectomy and a l umpectomy. (Another reason to spay your pets!)
Candi has healed up nicely and her foster family fell in love with the gentle, loving girl who just happens to to be the perfect family dog. ❤ï¸Â
