CiCi

Let us tell you about Cici!! Cici's owner died in November and someone took her in. After two weeks that individual decided that she did not want Cici and was going to take her to a shelter. We heard about this and offered to take the little scared girl. A loud, scary shelter is no place for a tiny, sensitive dog!
We took her to the vet asap and updated her vetting. She was in need of a dental so we had that done as well. Her foster Mom LOVES little chis and fell in love with her right away. After Cici's dental she informed us she would like to add the little one to her family.
Yesterday we made it official and Cici now has a forever home once again. Thank you Oakland for fostering AND adopting... and not once but twice with us!!
Congrats Cici for finding your forever home right away!
Thanks Carole for helping get her to us!
Have a wonderful life together Cici and Oakland! :)

Chico

Congratulations to Chico who has found his forever home!
This little guy was a hot mess when we got him from a North Carolina shelter last month. His nails were super long, he was heartworm positive, needed many teeth extracted, and had an enlarged testicle that needed removed.  We took care of all of that and over the next month Chico started feeling so much better.
Today Chico found his new forever home with the Bragg family who were instantly in love with the little guy, snaggletooth and all!
Thank you Danielle for fostering and Lisa for transporting!
Have a great new life Chico! We love you!

Clarice

At the beginning of November, we stepped up for a little hound who had been at a nearby shelter in North Carolina for a few weeks. Rescues had come and gone and didn’t choose this little one for whatever reason.
She looked bigger in her photos but we soon found out she was about the sweetest little thing and such a doll! She had to be treated for a tick illness but was soon on the mend and ready to search for love.
The Carter family had applied for one of our pups back in the spring. They had breed restrictions and needed approval before adopting dogs in their community which made things tricky.
When we suggested Clarice they were on board for meeting her.  Clarice can be a little shy at first but she instantly gravitated to her potential family.
This week Clarice joined her new family complete with kids to keep her busy! She will never be lonely again.
Thank you Carter family for adopting and not shopping and thank you Marc for fostering!
Have a wonderful life sweet girl! We love you!

Cash

Last month there was a list of "Last call" dogs at the county shelter. Cash was one of them.  He had been found as a stray and taken to the shelter. He was "Rescue only" because he was heartworm positive and not neutered. Cash was about to be a statistic without immediate rescue.
We offered to help and found an amazing foster home for Cash. Whew!!  We sprung him on his last day 🙏🏻 Cash was scared but was so happy to get out of there!  We treated his heartworms, completed his vetting and his awesome foster family worked with him on leash walking and taking him out in public. After being out there on your own, the world can be scary!
Cash hit the jackpot when a friend of his foster family who had been following his story, fell in love with him and applied to adopt. Cash is now on his way to Nashville , Tennessee! Appropriate for a dog named (johnny) Cash!
Thank you so much Gibbs family for giving Cash the best foster home he could ever have! You went above and beyond to make sure he was prepared for his new life.
Thank you Mary for opting to adopt a once homeless shelter dog and driving all the way from Nashville to get him!
Have an amazing new life Cash!!! We love you!

Cordelia

Ms Cordelia adopted! 10/8/2020
We got this sweet kitten after she was not being taken care of properly. We treated her respiratory infection, did all of her vetting and got her in tip top shape! It took a few weeks to find her forever home but it was worth it!
Thank you Tara for fostering! (even while you are allergic!) Thank you Kathy for adding this kitty to your home!
Have a wonderful life Cordelia!!
