Banjo

Happy gotcha Day Banjo kitty!!
Banjo and Fiddle found themselves at a rural shelter; Fiddle was adopted and we sprung Banjo.
Many people inquired about her but nothing had panned out so her foster dad decided to adopt!
Thanks Christopher for adopting and fostering!
Happy life Banjo!

Benny

Congrats to little Ben who has found his forever family!
Ben joined us a few months ago after his owner tripped over him and a family member insisted he be taken to a shelter.
Ben was very unsocialized and scared. I'm sure the loud shelter didn't help matters for the little ten-pound guy.
It took Ben awhile to warm up and trust people but once he did, he turned into a little love bug. He was also a little harder to place as he couldn't go to a home with bigger dogs or kids, but we knew we would find the perfect home for him.
Ben went for a meet last week to a home with two other little female chis; one who looked almost identical to him!
He fit right in, and everyone loved him!
Thanks Christopher and Virginia for adopting little Ben and giving him a new life. We know he is in heaven with the other littles.
Thank you, Amber, for picking him up from the shelter and fostering.
Happy Life Ben and new family!!

Bami

Happy Gotcha Day Bami!!
Bami and his sister came to us as tiny little babies, only around 4-5 weeks old. They had been turned into a shelter without their mama.
We scooped them up as soon as possible as puppies that young do not fair well in a shelter environment. They do not have developed immune systems and can get sick.
Bami and his sister had to get all of their shots, vetting, and spayed and neutered before adoption. (We don't believe in putting more unaltered dogs back out in the world), so for the next few months they learned how to be happy, healthy puppies and have lots of new experiences.
Ginny, Bami's sister was adopted about three weeks ago. Bami was fine with that as she was kinda bossy lol and we wondered why we didn't seem to have much interest in this beautiful boy.
Bami's luck changed recently when we received several apps for him. His awesome foster mom said, "Bami's new dad is a perfect fit!"
Bami moved to Southport, North Carolina today. His new dad has been without a dog for awhile and was ready to find a new partner and adventure buddy.
Bami is going to get all the exercise, enrichment and outdoor fun he could ever dream of and we couldn't be happier.
Have a wonderful life Bami! We love you so much.
Thank you David and thank you so much Angela for being the best foster mom and preparing the pups for their future.

Blondie

Congratulations to Blondie who has found her forever family!
Blondie joined us in May when her time was up at the county shelter. She had an ulcerated eye which needed to be removed so no one was stepping up for her.
We sprung to her rescue and treated her skin problems and her eye was removed so she would no longer be in pain.
Blondie is the sweetest little girl and her journey in complete with her new family, including Miss Annie who is a former PLP dog too!
Thank you Laura and family and Annie for accepting Blondie into your home!
Have a wonderful life sweet Blondie! We love you!

Buddha

When a shelter we work with contacted us about a cute stray puppy that had came in, we stepped right up! We found a foster and we sprung the little Rolly Polly as soon as we could
Buddha joined us and everyone who met him fell in love with him!
Yesterday we drove him to his new home in Wilmington where he will have lots of fun and adventures with his new dad, his friends and another dog in the home.
Congratulations Richard and Buddha! Have a wonderful life together!
Thank you Penny for fostering this sweet boy!
We will miss you Buddha! Love you !
