Ginny

Ginny Ginny, who can i turn to?
Back in August we pulled a couple of tiny puppies from a North Carolina kill shelter. They had to get out or their chances of surviving would not be good. Littles do not have the immune systems to fight off viruses and a shelter is a stressful situation.
Once sprung the sweet little angels thrived, started their vetting and immediately started learning basic training from their amazing foster mama.
Miss Ginny is the sweetest little girl, with the most adorable ear flip and she had a following from the beginning.
A couple in Florida who follows our page saw her and immediately inquired. They drove up to meet her over the weekend and It was love at first sight Little Ginny is now on her way to the Sunshine state with her new family.
Thank you Angela for being an amazing foster mama and teaching Ginny so much in her young life.
Thank you Scott and Isabel for being patient and making a road trip to adopt our girl!!
Have a great life Ginny!!! We love you!

George

Happy Adoption Day George!!!
George came to us last summer. He was at a nearby shelter and on an alleged bite hold.
We pulled him and updated his vetting and he was soon adopted. (He could be a little grumpy but was a good boy in his foster home)
Five months later he was returned. He also came back to us 10 lbs heavier!
George had a visit with our trainer and back to the vet to be checked out.
George's foster mom gave him the exercise and enrichment he needed to thrive but it was hard to find a committed adopter for this special boy.
When a family of long time Dachshund owners applied for George we were excited! George's history did not phase them and George  joined his new family!
They are giving George the training and vet care he needs to thrive and they say he seems very happy and loves his backyard and even the kitties in the home! Yay Georgie!
We are blessed to have found a special home for this boy.
A lot of places would have put him down but we don't give up on dogs like George!
Thank you Davis family for adopting a "hard" dog! We need more people like you in the world!  Happy new Life Georgie!
Also, Thank you Mary for fostering!

Gordon

Drumroll Please!!!
Gordon has been ADOPTED!!!!
Gordon has had a bad life. He was found starved and emaciated under an unused boat in North Carolina. He could barely walk. We think he went there to die.
Someone went to look at the boat to possibly buy it and found Gordon! A miracle in itself. Gordon went to the shelter who sent him straight to the vet. The vet suggested euthanasia if not rescued immediately.
We found a temp foster for Gordon and sprung him immediately. He was so weak he barely could walk. His paws were raw and he was sick and tired. He was full of parasites, Heartworm positive , starving and had lots of skin infections. We started his treatment and he slowly gained weight and started feeling better. Thank god for our foster, Brittany who took him in when he was at his worst and gave him the quiet place to heal and feel better. This was back in August.
After two weeks Gordon was ready to go to his permanent foster home. Unfortunately, he only stayed two days. We moved Gordon back to Brittany and found another foster. There was a little incident over food with a smaller dog so Gordon couldn't stay and he was moved again.
He found another foster home, and he had a little incident over a food wrapper, and again went back to the person who always had his back.
When we had a few applications for Gordon we were happy, yet cautious. It is imperative that people understand this sweet boy and give him the guidance, understanding, space, and training he needs. Gordon is a super sweet laid back fella. He has just had a crappy past.
When a family went to meet Gordon last week we didn't think much of it. When they said they wanted to adopt him, even with a little dog, we were over the moon! 🙏🏻 They are totally on board for working with Gordon and giving him the home he has never had.
Gordon will now spend the first Thanksgiving of his life, indoors, with a family of his own, and will never miss a meal again!
I am shouting out to the world, THIS IS WHY RESCUE MATTERS!!!
Gordon is HOME! Thank you Tom and Michelle for taking a chance on Gordon and giving him what he has never had. We appreciate it more than you know.
Thank you to everyone who has helped  Gordon along his journey; Grand Strand Animal Hospital, and everyone who donated to his care.
Gordon, we ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH. TEARS OF JOY!!! Have a wonderful rest of your life!
Adopt; don't Shop!

Gallow Glass

Happy gotcha day Gallowglass!
Gallow, now named Ziggy joined his new family today in Greenville, SC. They had lost their dachshund last year and were ready to add a new one to their family.
Gallow came to us after we were informed of a hoarding situation in rural South Carolina. His owner was in a nursing home and the 18+ dogs were living in a house alone with trash and waste.  Gallow and his brother had escaped thru a hole in the wall and were missing for a few weeks. He finally showed up and we sent a volunteer to rescue them. Thank you Amber!
Our groomer friend Megan saved the day by bathing them and getting rid of the fleas and they settled into foster homes. Thank you Penny!  We then updated their vetting and they learned house and leash manners.
Happy life sweet boy! Thanks to Henry and  family for adopting !

Gunner

This guy found himself at the county shelter at the beginning of April when his owner turned him in. We scooped him up and he immediately started his Heartworm treatment and vetting.
Cathy had seen this boy we named Gunner, on the shelter website but couldn’t adopt since he was rescue only. Cathy offered fo foster to adopt thru PLP and today Gunner became an official member of her family! He is now healthy, happy and Home! ❤️
Congrats Gunner and Jones family!
Thank you Cathy for adopting and not shopping ! Gunner settled in with the cat, kids and Cathy immediately! He is so sweet and smart and they are one happy family!
Have a wonderful life handsome boy!
